Size guide - rings

Not sure which ring size to choose? To make it as easy as possible for you to buy the right size, we have put together a size guide with tips for finding the right size.

There are several different measurement systems for ring sizes around the world. In some countries the ring's inner circumference (mm) is measured, in some the inner diameter (mm) is measured, while in other countries they have their own measurement systems with letters/numbers. We mainly manufacture our rings according to the US/CAN measurement system, which means sizes such as 6, 7, 8, etc.

If you know your size, you can easily convert it to the ring measurement we use in our conversion chart below.

If you are not sure which size to choose, there are several ways to find out. Below are two simple options to arrive at the correct size. Then use the conversion table below to convert your size to US/CAN, our most common size (US/CAN) is highlighted in the list.

Option 1:

If you have a ring that you know fits, you can measure its inner diameter (mm) with a caliper/ruler. We recommend a caliper to obtain the most reliable measurement possible. Measure at the widest point of the ring and preferably more than once. Once you have the measure, you can easily convert it to US/CAN which we use in the table below.

Option 2:

For example, take a piece of string or a piece of paper and wrap it around your finger. Mark the points where the two ends meet. Then measure the string or paper with a ruler in mm. Then convert the millimeter measurement to the US/CAN measurement system. It is also fine to measure the inner circumference of a ring you know fits, these two measurements correspond to each other.

Important to think about

Something that can be good to think about when measuring ring size is that the fingers vary in size during the day. It can therefore be good to measure the finger several times throughout the day to get the most accurate measurement possible. Normally the fingers are smaller when it is cold or in the morning. In the evenings or at warmer temperatures, the fingers are often slightly swollen.

How you want the fit to be is a matter of taste and very individual, but the most important thing is that it fits tight enough not to fall off but loose enough so it fits comfortably and slides on your finger relatively easily when you put it on.

If you have larger joints, our tip is to keep that in mind when choosing a size. It may be that you then need to order a slightly larger size than the measurement indicates so that you can easily put the ring on in the right place.

The size of our rings can be experienced somewhat differently depending on the model, for example depending on whether the ring has a curved or straight inside or whether the ring rail is wide or narrow.
